Myanmar is located in Southeast Asia and bordering with China to the north and northeast; Laos and Thailand to the east and southeast, the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal to the south, Bangladesh and India to the west.
Myanmar has 135 distinct ethnic groups and three seasons. The hot season is usually from February to April, and cooling off during rainy season from May to October. The peak tourism season is the cool season from November to February.
